The rules for using FeedShots. By signing in or using the API or MCP, you agree to them.
1. The service
FeedShots is run by an independent developer acting as an individual. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean that developer. FeedShots creates images and PDFs of public posts on X at your request. Images are available in the editor, REST API and MCP; PDFs are available in the editor. FeedShots does not publish your files or provide public sharing pages. During testing, access is by invite. We may change features or stop the service; we’ll warn you by email when we can.
2. Who can use FeedShots
You must be at least 13 and meet any higher minimum age required where you live. If you are not old enough to enter a binding agreement on your own, you need permission from your parent or guardian.
3. Your account and keys
Keep your API keys secret: requests made with your keys count as yours. If a key leaks, revoke it on the API keys page and create a new one.
4. Fair use
Don’t overload the service, bypass its limits, access private content or use it to harass people or infringe their rights. Use the Thread and Bulk features within their limits. We may limit or remove access that harms FeedShots or other people using it, including repeated copyright violations.
5. Content from X
Posts and media belong to their respective rights holders. Making a download does not give you a license to someone else’s content. You are responsible for your right to request, copy, translate, download and use it, including any permission or legal exception you rely on. Respect copyright, privacy, attribution requirements and X’s applicable rules. Don’t present an altered post or a machine translation as an authentic statement by its author. Check translations before relying on them.
6. Files, caches and history
Files are generated on request and delivered to you. We reuse fetched posts and threads from a server cache for up to 1 hour, generated image files for up to 10 minutes, and translations for up to 1 hour. Signed image download links are valid for 24 hours; this is a link lifetime, not a promise that the file is stored for that long.
These are reuse periods, not guaranteed deletion times. Expired entries may remain until cleanup. Photos and avatars in separate image-delivery and browser caches may remain longer. See our privacy policy for details.
Your history keeps post IDs and saved settings, request times and related account or key information. It does not store post text, authors’ names or media. Author details and text are loaded again when you view history.
7. Removal and copyright requests
To report your post or a copyright concern, choose Remove my post or copyright in the contact form. Include the post URL, what you want us to review, your contact details and your connection to the post or rights holder.
For a copyright notice, also identify the original work, include your physical or electronic signature, state your good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the rights holder, their agent or the law, and state that the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act for the rights holder.
We respond within 7 days and act sooner where the law requires it. This is a response period, not a waiting period for urgent action. Reporting a post does not automatically block future requests. We cannot remove content from X or recall files you have already downloaded.
8. Not affiliated with X
FeedShots is an independent service. It isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by X Corp. X is a trademark of X Corp.
9. No warranty
To the extent allowed by law, FeedShots is provided “as is” and “as available”, without express or implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee availability, accuracy or that a public post will remain available. To the extent allowed by law, we aren’t liable for indirect losses, lost data or lost profits. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that the law does not allow you to waive.
10. Ending access
You can stop using FeedShots at any time and ask us to delete your data. We may end your access if you break these terms.
